New Orleans born and based, artist known as Shivers. My work in a few descriptive words, multidisciplinary studio art, conceptual material use, video, sculpture, installation, fashion, design and production. I'm a collective member of the Aquarium Gallery Studio's in New Orleans Bywater. I started as a kid drawing everything in nature and evolved into using any method or material that I envisioned my work to be in. Most likely ended up this kind of artist because I'm curious about how everything works, I take time playing with the materials/mediums to learn its ways, then most often and organically it's behavior ties into the story/concept of the work. I can say most recently I'm a textile painter that uses water for a canvas and I exhibit work in an installation context with additional use of video and sound.
